Gunnhildur Hallgrimsdottir is a senior hailing in from the south coast of Iceland, studying Economics and Environmental science. She is a proud resident of Eliot house, where you will find her eating lunch outside as soon as the temperature is above 5 degrees celcius (she thinks that being warm is a mindset, and will shame you for not wearing thermals). At Harvard, Gunnhildur does research with the Arctic Initiative, and goes hiking with the Outing Club, sometimes plays her accordion or does theater, but most enjoys drinking tea in the dining hall with friends. Gunnhildur is also the biggest ABBA fan you will ever meet, and aspires to one day have a hotel on a greek island. This summer Gunnhildur will be writing her thesis in Economics, and watching her roommate compete in the Paris 2024 olympics (huge!!!). Gunnhildur is very excited to come for her last FIP and welcome the new class, as it one of the best communities she has been a part of.
