Alin is a rising junior from Izmir, Turkey, and this is her second time being a FIP leader. She is living in Eliot House (DOMUS!)-objectively the best house on campus- and pursing a double concentration in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Anthropology. When she is not telling her how cool it is to be an international student to her non-international friends, she is probably talking about how awesome FIP was. Alin is passionate about diversity, and she is interested in learning about different cultures and their languages, so she would appreciate meeting people with whom she can practice different languages and learn new ones! She is involved in Woodbridge International Society, where she works to build a strong and inclusive international community for international students at the College and previously served as a First- Year International Representative. She is interested in biology, chemistry, , medical anthropology, and global health. She loves photography and wants to explore the intersection of anthropology and the arts. She likes taking pictures as she takes random walks along the Charles River, playing tennis, playing volleyball, discovering new places in Harvard Square and Boston, and hanging out with friends. Alin is really excited to welcome amazing international students of the class of 2028 as a FIP mom :)
