Dear Class of 2024,
Congratulations on your admission to Harvard College! Whether you're been a part of the class since December or just recieved your acceptance a few days ago, we are incredibly excited to welcome you to campus this fall.
It's obviously a difficult time all around the world right now, but we hope you are taking the opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments and that you're excited about what the next four years have in store for you.
If you are an international student, or a U.S. student who has spent significant time abroad, we encourage you to attend the First-Year International Program (FIP)! This is a great opportunity to meet other international students, recieve a warm welcome to Harvard while learning about various aspects of America that will help ease your transition, and have fun with other members of the Class of 2024 before orientation begins. We've just selected an amazing group of upperclassmen FIP leaders who are passionate about making sure your journey at Harvard starts off on the right foot, and all of us are so excited to meet you in August.
- FIP 2020 will be taking place from Thursday, August 20 - Tuesday, August 25, 2020. If these dates are postponed or cancelled due to the developing COVID-19 situation, we will announce that on this website.
- Registration will open within the next few weeks. Please check back to this page (and check your email) around that time to complete the registration form. The college will reach out to you about registering for Pre-Orientation Programs—all you have to do is indicate FIP as your first choice!
- Attendance and participation in this program are completely free,
Congratulations once again! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org.
