What can FIPpers talk to you about?
Caribbean culture, music, making new friends
Why should a freshman choose FIP?
If you want to create a home far away from home, choose FIP and become part of a family.
Luke was born and raised on the island of Trinidad. Leaving the warmth of the Caribbean behind, he moved to Cambridge last year as the first international student in the Harvard Berklee Dual Degree Program. He plays the steelpan and plans to concentrate in music. Next semester he will be living in Cabot House with a few of his best friends that he met during FIP. When he is not studying or making music, he is practicing judo as he is a member of the Trinidad and Tobago National Judo Team. On top of this he is the vice captain of the Harvard Club Field Hockey team. Also, he combines work with leisure at his job as an usher in Sanders Theater (basically getting paid to watch cool shows). As a Carnival baby, Luke believes that the best stress reliever is listening to Soca music and going to some of the parties hosted by social organisations on campus.
