What can FIPpers talk to you about?
Religious life, interfaith work, outings into Boston, concentration planning and indecision.
Why should a freshman choose FIP?
It could well be the 3 days in which you meet Harvard friends for life.
Ilan is rising senior in Adams House (best house) studying Government. He was born in Mexico City and lived there for a few years before moving to Toronto, and when that was too cold he and his family moved again to ever-sunny Los Angeles, California. Before coming to Harvard, Ilan took a gap year during which he traveled in South-East Asia, worked as a snowboard instructor in Colorado, did some backpacking, and generally had an incredible time. Ilan has taken Arabic at Harvard, and he loves to jump between concentrations -- one semester he was a philosophy concentrator, one semester a mechanical engineer, and now he studies government. He loves making last minute spontaneous decisions, eating new (and spicy) foods, and most of his best friends he met at FIP and at Hillel. Ilan will be interning in Israel over the summer, at a venture capital fund with a focus on sustainable technology and doing some work in global health. Ilan is beyond excited for FIP!!
