What can FIPers talk to you about?
Navigating Harvard and the US in general, how to fit in while not losing your culture and identity, how to deal with your Netflix addiction, music(Afrobeats, French pop, K-pop), K-dramas
Why should a first-year choose FIP?
The friends you will make during FIP will end up being your closest friends/potential blocking mates :). It is a wonderful way to interact with the international community at Harvard and get a sense of belonging as you adjust to a new environment.
Faith was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a rising sophomore and lives in Cabot House(aka, Best House). She intends to concentrate in Applied Math and Psychology and is pursuing a language citation in French. She is a research assistant at the Harvard Decision Science Laboratory which is at the Harvard Kennedy School. Faith is mostly involved with the African Students Association and the Woodbridge International Society because she wants to help foster a sense of community among the international students. She also really enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, so if there are any FIPers who would like to throw a frisbee in the Yard, just hit her up. She would like her FIP kids to know that she thinks Felipe's>>>Jefe's any day. She can't wait to meet all the wonderful FIPers!
