For Parents and Family

FIP is about friendship and community, and even the faculty and staff collaborators know that the FIPers need to be with each other as much as possible during the program. This can be tough for parents who travel to Harvard with their kids to help them with the transition, but we ask that FIPers have the space to meet new friends and experience their first few days at Harvard while the program is taking place.

While we want the new FIPers to have autonomy during FIP, we still love meeting parents! If you come to Harvard, please make sure to contact Ruth and Michel, the undergraduate Co-Directors of International First-Year Affairs (DIFA). We want to know that you are here and to let you know about particular parent/family events that we will be planning for FIP 2020.

A FIPer and his family are welcomed by FIP leaders on the first day.
